We produced a thirty second broadcast spot for Walter and Hogsett Fine Jewelers here in Boulder, Colorado. It features Art and Sami sharing their real engagement story. Interview scenes were filmed on location at Walters and Hogsett with B roll filmed on Pearl Street Mall. Allen Krughoff handled this project from end to end including producing, directing, filming and editing. Heather Fischer assisted. The video production of this spot would not have been possible without the openness of Art and Sami as well as the help of the Walters and Hogsett staff after hours for our interview.

From LLS and Lottie Bildirici:
Join me in celebrating 10 years as a cancer survivor as I take on IRONMAN® Louisville on October 14, 2018 in support of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).
On a daily basis, I’m asked why I started running or why I started runonveg.com? To this point, my answer has been “I just started running and started a blog about the importance of eating well as an athlete.” There is much more to it than that – and almost 10 years later, it is finally time to share my story.
Produced for SmartEtailing to announce new features of their service offerings for bike shops – specifically responsive websites that function and look great whether on a traditional browser or mobile device. We shot this in one day and turned around the edit and client revisions within one week.
We produced this cycling commercial for Cateye Co. based in Japan. To demonstrate their daytime cycling lights we used both a road cyclist and a bike commuter and filmed them in real-world use scenarios, from canyon roads to city streets, and everywhere in between. Big thanks to everyone who helped out on this project and to Cateye Japan for trusting us with the entire production here in Colorado.
Most scenes were shot on the Sony FS7 with a couple aerials on the Inspire 2 drone and a canyon scene captured by 2nd camera, Thomas Woodson, on the Sony A7SII. Clif Bar wanted a fun, event video that encapsulated their new event, the ‘Klunker Crit’ and to boost their social media content, incorporating the hashtags “FeedYourAdventure” and “ClifBarKlunkerCrit.” Hosted at Sanitas Brewing in Boulder, Colorado – we filmed this piece during the afternoon event and it was edited by Troy Ten Eyck.
I worked with Boulder Cycle Sport to produce a series of four short, funny commercials to air on Comcast during the Tour de France. They came to me with the original concept of ‘We don’t know ____”…”We know bikes.” The idea being to contrast the shop’s owner, Brandon Dwight, attempting sports he’s not exactly good at compared to scenes of him doing what he -is- good at, and that’s riding bikes.
I shot these over a handful of short 2 hour to half day shoots on location in and around Boulder, Colorado on the Sony FS7 camera platform. I did a quick turnaround on the editing in order to have the spots ready to go for the July running of the Tour.
Special thanks to Rally Sport for letting us use their pool and to Brandon Dwight for your acting!
Recently I photographed Taylor Phinney for the magazine CycleSport UK. At the end of the shoot we had a little time where he was still painting and I asked if he wouldn’t mind me filming it for a few minutes. I just added a Sony FS7 to my gear and hadn’t used it yet, so it was a great opportunity to test a new camera with color, frame rates and recording formats. Some of this was shot in UHD and some of the higher frame rates at 1080p over the course of about 15 minutes.
We worked with Boulder-based app developer, Quick Left, to produce a brand video that focused around client testimonials. Quick Left wanted to highlight the customer experience and showcase the advantages of working with them. We worked over two half days, shooting at the Quick Left headquarters and multiple clients’ offices. Also, we included some scenes to show off the positive work culture and environment inside Quick Left.
We filmed professional triathlete, Craig Alexander, when he visited Retul headquarters in Boulder, Colorado. The purpose of his visit was to update his bike fit, which we document in this short web commercial. Retul creates and sells state of the art bike fitting equipment for bike shops, retailers, and custom frame builders, among others.
